Adele claims that delay in the start of her Las Vegas residency 'was the most difficult moment of my career'

Adele was initially embarrassed of her sudden decision to halt the start of her Las Vegas residency,

but now she is proudly standing by her decision. In January The "Rolling in the Deep" singer announced that

she had took the decision to delay her show for The Colosseum in Caesars Palace.

In tearful posts on social media she apologized to her fans and acknowledged that

"my show isn't finished" due to delays in production as well as a rise of COVID-19-related cases.

"I do not think that many people would have made the same choices as I did. I'm extremely proud of myself

for being a strong advocate for my artistic desires," Adele said in an interview with Elle magazine's most recent feature story.

The following Monday the pop star disclosed the reason that led her to cancel the "Weekends with Adele" residency and to postpone it until the end of November.

The singer's emotional announcement certainly disappointed her the fans but to Adele, "it was the most difficult time in my career to date."

"Embarrassed" over the move for few months The "Easy On Me" singer claimed that the previous version of her residency

"no soul" in it," felt disengaged and "lacked intimacy" partly due to the Colosseum's enormous 4100-seat capacity.

After re-evaluating her "artistic demands," Adele said "Weekends With Adele" will be more intimate.

The show will outline "the tale of my career from the start of my career and up to today."

"The show keeps growing," she added. "It's all about music, and it's very nostalgic. It's going to be gorgeous."
